The Void - Poem by James Adam Robison

In my head a train of fire buzzes when I close my eyes

Bringing with it thoughts of hate sugar-free and fireflies

Dancing wildly in the void where conscience thought should reside

stamping out all there was, my dreams, my hope, my love, my pride
