The Way We.... - Poem by William Mangus

Sway me to thee, indulge in she,
now why stay free when love is calling me?
Handcuffed call me criminal,
wrists clink while chains streak along paths,
ankle tied bruised calves, slave like lost in love’s ocean wave like,

The way we….
connect is beyond us, timeless we are poetry rhymeless,
respect receive it like I am your highness,
but you are queen blessed with mother earth in between,
create life breed soldiers who fight for reformation,
love is what we’ve been chasing

The way we….
found it, love has no limit it is boundless,
explore it and if it fails, I hope I never deplore it,
love I am all for it,
The way we.©
