The Wicked Man - Poem by Ricky Bryant

Fall into obscurity
Nothing here is left for me
I've lost all of my sanity
There's nothing left of dignity

This schism grows like parting seas
I really wasn't hard to please
Gave you my heart you lost the keys
I lost it all on tattered knees

Broken beaten black and blue
I tried to give it all to you
There's nothing else that's left to do
We had our hearts and broke them too

No emotion empty soul
There's no part of me that's whole
Burning like a searing coal
Karma's come to take her toll

There was something deep inside
Now all has everything but died
Swept up in this violent tide
My inner child runs to hide

The demons turn inside my heart
Maybe this was doomed from the start
The curtains close I've played my part
I thought this fate but seems it art

I've gone through this and paid my dues
There's nothing else that I can lose
Between you and my life I choose
To spend my life in endless blues
