The Years Move On - Poem by Tamara Moir

The years moved on, for my mum,
For all the same time will come.
Death is really, just another phase,
We all must walk through the haze.
Well when I die,
Don’t sit and cry!
We will meet again
Up in heaven, my dear friend
Don’t bury me in the earth
Take my body, and burn it first
Then throw my ashes over the sea
Out so deep, so no one will see
Then I will wait in heaven for you
If you don’t cry, then that I will do
The years moved on, for my mum,
And for all…the same time will come.
