J. James Martinez

...Then Run And Rot

Looking over the past few months...
This
Is the quietest you've ever been...

How's the star?
How's the mother?

It seems the hunter
Shot an ace
Right through your heart
Through your belly

So many questions...

Do your eyes bleed?
Do you need?
Is your being warm, at peace, and
Free from disease?

Do you glow like a whore in
New York?
Do you shine like the corners of
Hollywood and Vine?

So many questions?

Perhaps another time
Perhaps not...

Breathe this last breath, then run and rot...
