Theres Nothing Like The Lake - Poem by Caralee Manfred

Its silent
Nothing but the soft crash of waves against the shore
The sun begins to rise right behind the trees
You can tell the day is good with big things it has in store
You can not wait to feel the water
No matter how cold it is
Its the feeling it gives you when your with the people you love
That makes us yearn to live
The Day is young
The Waters wide
But He's the reason you can survive
So go have fun
Get all wet
The Waters waiting
But the Sun will set
And when it sets over the Water blue
The One your meant for will be holding You.
