Through A Red, Dusty Silhouette Poem by james watkin

Through A Red, Dusty Silhouette

Through a red, dusty silhouette
War's visage I can see;
Dire, swelling. Disfigures then
The face of a country.

Peace is green; nature it reflects.
Or what clear, far off, blue
Repels not, sunny admired.
Smooth complexioned, sailed through.
