Tides Of Change - Poem by Charles Tomar

i think i hear the tides of change...
...i must admit it feels strange
But somehow good, very good....
...just as it should
But is the tide good bad or disappointing...
...i could be prematurely guessing
It could take me and guide me and keep me afloat...
...or it could rip me down and drown me
just like a sinking boat
Or maybe it wouldnt even reach my feet...
...leaving me dry and suffering in the heat
So here I stand on the shore watching with a hopefule grin...
...waiting for the tide of change to come in...
