Lynzi Berner

Tilted - Poem by Lynzi Berner

What was your aim
was I to blame
I feel you've changed
was I the dame
for the love you feigned
such a tricky game
boardering on insane
on this one way lane
my heart you maimed
I whisper your name
an old familiar pain
I welcome the rain
for I'll never be the same
feeling wild and untamed
I remember I was vain
until your feelings waned
