Time With You - Poem by Matthew Sharp

strong words dent the faith of a shallow fate
i hurry up and wait for you again
it seems like youre there but your not
i see you in there and im determined
to bring you back to me
even if it takes years to repair
the damage of lost dreams
medicated to feed their echo
i cried for you and you know
that i will fight anything
so you couldnt laugh or mock me for it
if you get the wrong idea
i will constantly renew myself
another fight that i will win
even if it takes years...
youll still be my lady
if i find you in our eighties
im a killer dont push me
and you did
so now i kill
whats dying inside of you
come back to me
i know you meant it
its beyond that
