Tired And Longing - Poem by Michael P. McParland

It's a tired day my dear and I feel frustrated too,
it's been a bit of a stretch where it feels
not much has gone as I want and need around me
and I'm longing so hard to just talk to you
and lay down together and fall asleep in your arms.
I long and yearn to feel loving comfort and protected
as we snuggle close under the blankets
giving each other sweet smiles and deep kisses.
I am so tired and deeply frustrated and I long
to be in your arms holding you close as we pass the time.

It's a tired and longing day so far my dear
and I feel frustrated by a number of things
but with all of your warmth and love it all
may improve and it will for sure help
me feel more comfort than I otherwise would.
I'm just tired and longing so bad
and wish that I could hold you while we talked.
I'm longing and yearning so deep in my soul
to have you right here holding my hand
and helping me know everything is alright.
I'm tired and longing and missing you badly
and I want to hold you so very closely.

I'm tired sweet one and I truly long for,
want you, and need you deep in my soul,
you are the Angel that gives me hope and I so adore,
you are the Queen I bow before with tears in my eyes
and say I love you dear please forever be mine
for I give you myself and everything that I have,
I love you so much and will forever be yours.
I'm tired sweet Kira and long to feel you next to me
while we so sweetly kiss and talk and together
release all that we hold inside.
Dear I'm tired, frustrated, and so deeply longing
so please come into my arms and hold me so tightly.
