To A Lost Friend 'Can'T You See It...' Poem by Rajbir Singh

To A Lost Friend 'Can'T You See It...'

Believe me it’s not best of your view,
Can’t you see it what I can see in you?

Who in this world don’t want to be happy, who wants to cry,
Who in this world wants to be numb, who wants to sigh?

Underestimated passions and unfinished dreams
Inside your melancholy eyes I can see colourful gleams,

There is a great life beyond what you see,
There exists a heaven where you deserve to be.

Put off all your fears, just free your mind,
Shed all your doubts and just be kind.

Be kind to yourself and to those who love you,
Can’t you see it, what I can see in you?

Future is not certain and you can’t change the past,
Today is in your hand and time is running fast.

If pains try to chase you, don’t let it precede,
With each and every pain, just double your speed.

Rise up with vigour and move in a passion,
Let the world know losing is not your fashion.

Don’t worry if you lose battles while winning a war,
When sorrows try to touch you, tell it I’m too far.

Just win yourself and win all the way through,
Can’t you see it what I can see in you?

While fighting with your darkness, fight till last stand,
Remember when darkest hour falls, morning is in hand.

Play like you never lost; smile like you never cried,
Live like it’s your last day, love like you never tried.

Power to change world, power to grow,
Power to be amazing, power to glow,

Power to make a difference, power of acceleration,
With all these powers in you, the power of creation.

Eternal fire needs just ablaze a little bit,
Develop in yourself just craze a little bit.

Unleash the kid which is there in you,
Can’t you see what I can see in you?

What if you saw a dream, what if you didn’t make up,
What if you lived in agony, this is the time for you to wake up.

One push is enough for you to wake,
What are you waiting for? Another shake?

This wall can be broken, just try a bit hard,
There are no fences, and there is no guard.

Just don’t give anything a damn, forget all the rest,
Believe me when I say, yes you are the best.

When it rains on your side, why you turn blue?
Can’t you see it, what I can see in you?

Let almighty always back you, in life’s every odd,
Feel a hand on your head always; let it be hand of God.

I wish you luck in your life’s every quest,
With all my heart I wish you all the best.

Keep your heart light always, just like dropp of dew,
Can’t you see it, what I can see in you?
