To A Thief, For An Almost Lover - Poem by Shannon Lightning

You and Your Doll Parts
5 words of a song
Sunglasses, You as an imaginary Rockstar
Are now all a small glitch in our History
The insignificant ray of light
A moment of slight joy
A moment of weakness
Singing into shades
Smelling of a dusty basement
Never to see you again
Torn from you life
and daydreaming of a life when we can be together permenantly
United against humanity and the hatred within
Hiding in eachother
Me and You, were my world, a world now fallen apart
Your slight smile holding my balance
You were my wall since death #3, one of us had to be
You love my vulnerability cause it stems from you
You hold my confidence in your callus palm
The only few weeks in my life that made me feel almost happy, beautiful, hopeful
I looked forward to waking up in the mornings
I hope you are all happy now, you took him away
stold my smile, stabbed my heart
I die from this day, I was hardly alive anyways

Oh dear! But the thing is shannon, love takes no prisoners. And all is fair in love and war. There are a few typos but your poem is an honest expression of your lost lover. Tomorrow is another day. 8 from Tai (Report) Reply
