It's that time of the year
for lovers
were hearts can be amend or broken
couples sit back, relax, have a romantic moment
talk, laugh, celebrate and drink the finest wine
to settle their difference in time
Hug, kiss and make love
for one bliss
with a twist
to out do
one another
like an iron hand fist
Thinking back
to when we first met
(I want(need) that old thang back)
you was a ribbon in the sky
for our love
people thinking it wouldn't last
this long
they bet
only our love grew strong
we are now set
Married for love
for life
for more
it broke alot of people necks
to see us stroll
the deck
together as one
now they want and try
everything to make us reck
we put them in check
Leaving the past behind
I am ready to dine
with my baby
to fire and desire
for old time sake
pulling out the radio
listening to Rick James
while we do our thang
on Valentine's Day
even though we are in seperate
places(I'm incarcerated, you in the free world)
I love you, will always love you
my wife for life eternal
It don't stop our love
for one other
any days of our life
for everyday we scarifice
making our love
and us strong
to carry on
to amend our hearts
for life
not only on Valentine's Day
because everyday is Valentine's Day
for my wife
