To Be Loved By Him - Poem by Ismim Putera

Why is it difficult?
To be loved by him,
Indeed this is the unfortunate times,
To love yourself and others like you.

Why is it difficult?
To see him again,
We evade the sun and moon,
Despite the rain and rainbow.

Why is it difficult?
To hug him again,
The heat is hot and warm,
Enshrouding ourselves in the purple blanket.

Why is it difficult?
To kiss him again,
The lips dried and cracked,
To shout his name in dreams.

Why is it difficult?
To love him again,
The hand ached and bruised,
Seizing tears from a gay heart.
