To Be With You (Service) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I just want to be with you forever.
I care about you and wonder if you're
doing alright and need my help all of the time.
If it has ever seemed I believed it was more
and mostly about me I apologize I never meant
for it to look that way because I don't feel or believe that.
I confide so very much about what I think and need
out of the loving respect and trust I have in you.
I've been trying to communicate this by telling you
and showing you sides and things no other could
ever hope in their wildest dreams to see and experience from me.
I am so sorry I've gone about this all wrong,
I've tried to express my desire to be of service and give
you not one bit less, in my heart and soul I want
to give you so much more because you deserve better.
Being of service to my only lady is one of the things
that truly makes me happy and feel great.
I love listening to you and for years have died inside
for you to tear down your walls sharing everything
so I could know you throughout and help you heal,
so I would know where not to tease or make a stupid comment
off the cuff not knowing why it angered or hurt you.
I'm here and I'm listening, ready and willing to give
and do all the things that you need.
I know you're longing and in want of holding just
as much as me and I ask for it constantly with
both of our wants and needs in my mind.
I'm so sorry if I made it seem it was all about me.
I've just wanted to show you how important you are
and that no other woman could ever take your place.
I won't give them even a quarter of my soul,
heart and trust that you've gotten,
I care more about your needs and wants and I did a bad job
of communicating what I was saying.
I'm so very sorry please forgive me.
I love you so much and I want to be of great service,
you are my Angel bride and I want to give you every part
of me in service, trust, faith, giving all of my
inner most fears and secrets.
For eternity I just want to be with my lady giving
her my all and everything she'll ever want and need.
