To Care - Poem by Gordon Jerome

Do you know how to care
Have you feelings you can share
Is there room in your heart to feel
Could your love become so real
Simple actions can say so much
Like a gentle kiss or a loving touch
A wink when it seems so out of place
Or a smile to replace a worried face
Have you a tear to share a cry
Have you the time to simply try
A hug to warm a broken heart
Or an ear to listen could be a start
Can you change a mood so vile
Or with laughter bring a smile
If you would share your love of life
Then you could help another’s strife.
“closing thought”
Feelings for others we often share
For others feelings we must care
