To-Day - Poem by Anjali V S

The sky was cloudy to-day
Streaks of white and grey,
drowned the mighty one
Nowhere to be seen.
The wind was heavy
Unruffled and powerful,
quaking the whole life forms.
I stood sommer—
In contemplation
Behind the bars.
A path far away
Solitary she walks
Her fair skin
Clad in sari
Spiteful of the milieu.
Raindrops did not bother her
storm did not jitter her,
flicker of telepathy…
Me in her wandering thoughts
created succour.
