To Just Rest - Poem by Michael P. McParland
To just be able to rest my head upon
your shoulder while you rub my face and head
would be the perfect way to relax and decompress,
to just tell you that I love you
as we drift away to sleep with a kiss
as I lay my head back down upon your shoulder
feeling safe and secure at home.
To just rest my head upon your soft breasts
as we close our eyes and talk about everything
we've ever wanted and needed would be a dream
come true and a deep need finally fulfilled,
just talking as you rub my face and head as we talk
resting my head at home upon your soft breasts
the most beautiful way to relax and open up
to the only woman I'll ever love.
To just rest my head on the pillow next to yours
while I look into to your eyes, caress your cheeck,
and stroke your hair is such a beautiful dream
I want and need fulfilled you rubbing my face and head
releaseing all the longing and aching we've felt within.
I love you darling and to just lay in bed and share these
moments with you is all I want and need to be fulfilled.
