I want to touch the earth
To wrap my arms around its girth
To grasp hold of a mountain
To dance free in a fountain
To feel the power of the wind
To stand in the ocean up to my chin
To smell the storm before the raindrops fall
To climb a tree three stories tall
To hear the leaves crunch under my feet
To bit into an apple to see if it's sweet
To feel so alive...I want to touch the earth
And fill myself with all of its mirth
