Today Is As Yesterday - Poem by Greg Marker

Slowly I become insane,
for in this circle I remain.
Everyday is all the same,
am I the only one to blame?
I cannot take it anymore,
nothing left I'm living for.
Apathy now turns to hate,
for any cure I fear is to late.
Waking working then to sleep,
dug a hole that's far to deep.
Here beneath I only wait,
living nightmares I create.
Sleep to wake up yesterday,
for in the past I seem to stay.
Lost without a way to go,
fearing I shall never know.
Stagnant in my current state,
maybe waiting is my fate.
