Torn Apart - Poem by Explic DVyne
Am a senseless wonderer, my aims are not clear, what I stand for
Seems questionable, yet I believe in you. As dawn breaks a day
Ends my life with you begins, strange to some yet to me a special
moment. I play around with words to express myself yet I fill
It’s not enough. I bottle up my thoughts and feelings expecting
Ramose yet all I get is an urge, an urge for you my love. I have
Fallen in the entrapment of love yet am finding it hard to come
To terms with it.
My past now distant, I forget all that happened, all hope had been
Lost but now am not so sure, opening up to you is no option my
Pride holds mi down, what do I stand to lose if am to confront
You, will I still have my dignity? Conflicts of thoughts are
Wearing mi down, but I can’t get myself to approach you,
The long hands of fear tie mi down.
So to night like every night I sit down all alone and look outside
My window till you turns off your lights and drift to sleep.
