Trail Poem by ...C Cleverly

Trail

Sister Dharma blessed
On paths that ever wind
Not every hill is Everest
A scene from Durga’s shrine.

Not every climb's a quest,
Nor valley, Shangri-La,
Nor Nagarkot, a rest,
Nor Orion, a shooter's star.

Not every guide knows the way
Not every grin's a smile.
And not all pray for prey
Or find this trail, a trial.
