Trust Poem by Angela Wang

Trust

My trust is something I want you to keep,
If you don’t want it just give me a beep.
To give it away is something deep.

My trust is something I want you to keep,
Safely stow it away don’t say a peep.
To pass it around is something cheap.

My trust is something I want you to keep,
Don’t keep it and you won’t be asleep.
To play with it is a big leap.

My trust is something I want you to keep,
Try to kill it and I’ll turn you into a heap.
To stab it is like making babies weep.

You see how my trust is an important object,
Break it and it will forever be wrecked.
Trust’s heart would be broken and never resurrect.
