Turn On The Lights - Poem by avery watts

Turn on the lights
Open your eyes
Breath into Reality
Swiftly defy
Pretend with me
That the candle above
On the ceiling above us
Is just as bright
As the one outside
In the sunlight
Burning so warmly
Just turn on the lights

Turn on the lights
Smile sweetly smile
Let our hearts laugh on time
May they shine an entire mile
Hold me tighter
Watch the clouds play
Pray with me that this moment
Won't ever burn away
Over the covers
This feels so right
Quickly! Hurry!
Turn on the lights
Turn on the lights
Smile so brightly
Kiss me gently
Whisper sweetly
Move so swiftly
Morning sweet lover
Can you feel the light?
Slip on over
See the skies
Are they in flight?
Flying, flying
Turn on the lights
