Ultimate Pain Of Loneliness - Poem by Adam Peterson

The hole in my soul grows and grows,
Until I can bear it no more,
I try to push it back,
It simply starts to grow again,
I try to take my life,
The steel blade breaks against my chest,
Why? Why can't I end this pain?
All the advice is empty words,
Taken from wrote,
To satisfy the standard issues,
No-one has my problem,
So I do what I've been avoiding,
I open an old wound to drown the pain of the new one
