Unbreakable Heart - Poem by kelsey leroux

why am i the target of your hatred?
and you kick me when i'm down
is it cause i don't throw myself at your feet?
well then i guesse you've met your match
so you better take a seat

i'm not that kind of girl
i dont worship a cute guy like a god
am i giving your mind a twirl?
you think i answer to you with a nod
i am not a burden at your feet
and i can do better than you, FREAK!

i am a fighter
a strong believer
and my hope is strong
my spirit will not be broken
untill it has gone on to long

i will not get down on my knees
i will not beg with oral pleas
i will not run away in fear
your image will soon be nothing but a smear
you'll be calling, mommy mommy help me!

i wont stoop that low
that is your level to begin with
but i will do one thing
i will fight back with an even stronger wrath

don't treat me like i am beneath you
like i don't deserve what i have
dont treat me like i am worthless
cause' no matter what, i'll come through

i am a fighter
a strong believer
and i don't give up what i'v started
my pure soul will last forever
my hope is stronger than a thousand armies
my inner light shines brighter than the sun
there's nothing you can do to stop me
from having my own fun
my thoughts are self preserved
my friends and familly are the best in the world
my heart is forespoken
an my heart will not be broken
