Unholy War - Poem by Sonia Limas

Unholy War
Are you really fighting an Unholy War?
I sit here and contemplate on my floor
Who you really fighting for?
you a Martyr of your own proclaimed demons
In my soul I seek reason
For what still keeps me here
it has to be more like a pathological addiction
I guess were both held down by these chains
only players of a game
I hold your fate, and you with mine
answers that time can't even heal
I keep my shit exposed and real
and you always ask why I bring up the past
cuz the future only seems
like an elusive dream
