Untitled - Poem by Kayleigh McKay
I miss you.
Every day, it's like the air that I breathe,
and the things that I see,
they're not real to me,
they're not real to me.
The trees, they have no beauty,
music, it has no sound,
none of it matters without you,
sitting here beside me.
I want to show you,
I want to make you understand,
what I am, what you've done to me,
what you've reduced me to.
But you don't care,
I cry and I bleed,
but you don't care,
this thought, it burns,
it devours mercilessly.
I miss you today, tomorrow and every single day after that.
I'll never forget the day you left me,
left me all by myself,
alone, helpless, useless, worthless.
