Utopia - Poem by William Verbaud

What is love?
Being able to watch some one sleep
Being able to be silent and stare across the table in to the person’s eyes
To go dancing in the rain
Sleeping in the grass
And having icing fights in the kitchen like 4 year olds
Being able to place a head on a shoulder
Able to cry with and feel comfort
Watching movies late at night, eating popcorn, and drinking
Cuddling on the couch
Running around the house
Hiding under the covers at dawn
The surprise breakfast in bed, that is never any good, but always sweet
Coffee in the morning sun
Beach trips and sandy pants the entire way home
Finding stars in the sky, or planets
Knowing when you need help
Realizing completeness may not be an individual trait, but shared
Finding the hours away from love’s touch is unbearable
and a days wait inconceivable
Love is crying for joy,
Because you just don’t know how you got so lucky.
