Vembanadan Lake - Poem by SABU SHANMUGHOM

Vembanadan lake.

A canvas
That never dried.

Sky flew down
And sat on my shoulder,
A loner.

On the green meadows
The book of dew drops fell,
Scattered and torn.

Night swells.
