Vibrations - Poem by T. L. Strand

So here we are with
Nothing between us but
Time and the waves of heat as they
Vibrate through us.

Who will make the first move?
Doubt and fear, doubt that you feel the same and
Fear that you do.

Your hand, so close yet
So uninterested in my
Breathing that has my eyes
Filled with dew.

You are the One, the only
Manifest that I am capable,
Bound by Love unexplainable
Yet simple.

Only just touch me, tell me, or show me that
In time you could also find a
Spark of interest in the flame that I
Possess for you.
