Victorian Portraits (Side By Side) Poem by james watkin

Victorian Portraits (Side By Side)

Gentian bundles held lengthwise;
Twin berries, heads buried in.
Slow out-wheeling, revealing.
Take this image, bearing it lightly;
As you would sweetest feeling.

Sparing what next in sequence
Too unwieldy to hoist is
With laughed bliss, though chuckled this
In a purple mess; a trail's wasteland!
Pooled splatter-faced; her's and his.
