Waiting For The Right Moment - Poem by Seema Chowdhury

I waited all my life
For the right moment to come
But today
When everything is lost
And I'm a complete loser
I regret for all the
Unsaid and unexpressed thoughts
And for all the unheard sighs
I wish just once
If I could have gathered
Enough strength
And courage
To say
What I have wished-
What I've felt-
And what I've dreamed-
For 'us'
And our lives.

I see regret too........but feel like reminding you....
that this gift of poetry is a ray of hope
    for who knows.....
    Sincere efforts may reach....him
And he may in some small way brighten your life........
    true love is never lost..........

I see regret all the way in the poem. It happens often in our lives when we wait for that 'right moment', but then its just too late, and the feeling is worst, its more than just regret, its also anger in my case.

    A thoughtful poem :)
