Wake Up Call - Poem by Karishma Shamarukh
I wonder as I watch the moon
Certainly the life will be over soon
I don’t really should be thinking this now
But thoughts are there I really don’t know how.
Life is so short if you think deeply
But then again the glass is half full or you can say that it’s half empty.
The sooner the better they always say
Mold your life anyhow as you play with this clay.
I just realized it’s never too late
Just wake up from your sleep and open this gate.
True wishes needs efforts to come true
No matter how hard it is just try harder, n u will get through
At this very moment I now realize,
Grass can also be greener on my side.
No time is left for sorrow and grief
No time to think
No time to sleep
Just listen to the wakeup call and get a relief.
There is something inside you that’s yet to be discovered
It’s you to find out; just remove the cover.
This call is for you and for all
Don’t ignore it; don’t deny it because you know that
You have to answer this wake up call.
