Wash Away - Poem by Laura Marie

You look at me sad
former tears on your face
i look back wondering
if i could just wash away
all the pain you caused
all the tears you made mine
all the time i wasted
on your face so fine
still wishing
still waiting
for you to see
the only thing that you left me
my broken soul is all i have
after you destroyed all of me
so i lay back and cry for days
being the one alone
all alone
