Watching You Soar - Poem by Clayton Snyder

Once again I am lost
Trying to find my way
It seems I have been tossed
In the trash, so far away
Every second that goes by
I never cease to think of you
But it seems, you want to fly
Yet I have no wings, like you do
So instead I watch you soar
And wish that I could follow you
Please come back down to this floor
Pick me up and let me come with you
