We Know Not Where We Stand - Poem by Robert Crook

We know not where we stand
Till our day of judgment comes
When god’s wisdom graces us
And he judges our souls and sins

Life leads only to death
Death leads to heaven or hell
Yet what brings us to this point
Are the paths we take on our journey

The choices we make
The choices we live by
Lead us to our destiny
And our life beyond
