'Suppose those newly elected,
Can not fulfill their promises...
By the next election.
What happens then? '

They should be given an opportunity.
Things take time.
You can make changes overnight.
People should realize that.

'That sounds 'very' familiar.
Why doesn't your comments apply,
To those already in power? '

We gave that new guy,
A little more than a year.
That was time enough to correct decades,
Of our problems.
We can be more patient with the new people,
For 'obvious' reasons.
And if they screw up...
That's expected.
We'll find someone else to blame.
