We'Ll Live (A Symbolic Poem) - Poem by Cathya Carter

the scars that mark me body are my reminders of you.
the constant nightmeres are my reminder of you.
watching my mam cry because of you
and seeing my sister leave because of you
and seeing the dark bruises you leave
are all reminders of you
you left us torn and battered
you claim you had nothing to do with it but

we know you did.
you hurt me before
you didnt want me
you still dont want me.
But Now I Dont Want You.
i cover the scars you left me.
i suffer in silence in the night.
i calm my mam and remind her your gone.

i find my sister and bring her back
i remind myself that your no longer there.
and my brusis heal with time.
we became a family when you left
a miss shaped one.
but a close one nother the less.
we'll always have each other.
but we'l still have our reminders of you too.
