Alice, I grew up and lived near the ocean for many years. Worked out in the North Sea for a couple. Even when I moved to Texas I found plenty to be near. This poem also touches me in a special way. You seem to use water a lot in your poetry. I like that. It has so many poetic, thoughtful and spiritual meanings.
