What Can I Say - Poem by Gordon Jerome

If you think your better than another your not
It does not matter what they have or have not
The poorest beggar can have the richest soul
A person’s weakness holds its strengths control
The dumbest of looks can hide a brilliant mind
And the one who sees all could be totally blind
The one so lost could be the one you’ve sought
Have you taken a moment to give this a thought
Now all us fat ugly ones lets see what can I say
We might just show you your most beautiful day.
“closing thought”
You should judge from the heart and not from the eyes
Then a persons true nature will not take you by surprise
