What God Is To Me - Poem by lesley herrera

You are the dew on the ground, the rising sun

You are the moon I see when the day is done

You are the clouds in the sky, the birds that sing

You are the rain that falls in a mountain stream

You are the wind that blows, the flowers that bloom

You are the air I breathe, the food I consume

You are my friend, my confidant, and the love of my life

You are the strength I need the warrior in my fight

You are my lover, my soul mate, and the perfect spouse

You are my conscience, my temple you protect my house

You are my heart that beats the blood in my veins

You are everywhere around me, all that remains
