What If? - Poem by Camacy Melville

What if there was never slavery?
What if I wasn't a person?
What if I was a boy?
What if I was 7 feet tall?
What if there was no food?
What if I could fly?
What if I were president?
What if I was water?
What if I was dunce?
What if I was the teacher?
What if you leave me alone?
What if I stayed 14 forever?
What if I fail this class?
What if I have 10 kids?
What if I never met my father?
What if I never met my mother?
What if there were no guns?
What if nobody died?
What if there was no rain?
What if there were no clouds?
What if there was no sun?
What if there was no moon?
What would happen?
