What People May Try To Do Poem by katelin offord harper

What People May Try To Do

Rating: 5.0

Family may say
'I love you'
And tell you
'You're nothing like them'
But really they
Compare you

If you believe
You're not like them
You're not
You are your own
Person

And you can
Make your own
Decisions and choices

Let yourself
Be powerful
And speak your
Mind

Never let
Anyone tell you
What is on your mind?

Be yourself
Always

Great way to find yourself, a self-realization, where you achieve your goal and become unique within yourself. No longer able to be compared with your sister or anyone else, because you have confidence in the person you have just become through your decision. Absolutely perfect poem on individualism and finding it within. Love this poem with such great meaning and purpose. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
