What The Genuine Importance Of A Friend Is. Poem by Renchemarie Plotz

What The Genuine Importance Of A Friend Is.

We all know that a comrade should always be there for you,
But does that really label a true friend, I don’t think so.
My friend should be sincere, true of hart, and a compassionate loving human being
A person that does not take pleasure in living on other people’s despair
A person that will act fair to every little living thing
A person who does not desire what you have
A person who won’t lie nor steal form you
A person who you can express amusement, shed tears, shout with you
A person who will help you out of a mess, but don’t expect you to take the punishment for them.
A person who will direct you in the right way, not to lead you to all appalling things just because they are there or out of fulfillment
A person who will understand and respect your approach of life.
A person who is not voracious, green-eyed nor cruel
A person who you can speak to in moments of anguish and solitude
A person who wants you to thrive in life
A person who won’t wound you for their own gratification in love
A person who recognize past and present companions are not to share
A person who expects nothing less for themselves as above is alleged.
