What Will You Do Under An Over Cast Sky - Poem by Lindsay Crosby

What will you do under an overcast sky?
Will you at last tell the truth or just continue with a lie
Do you kneel and pray?
Do you believe he has time to listen to you today
or will you cry out to him I will change my way?
I hear you argue that it was I that set you on your route
You say I made a plan like only a fortune manager can
Here I am in situation to help you work out the equation
But the difference is I make no stipulation
I am here to take you at the hint of a fluctuation
Here Am I without reward moving mountains and parting the sea
For these are the things that you like to believe
So easily I entice you to follow me
Yet I need not make you heed
I have the power to throw you into the sea once again
and let the fishes feed
