What You Wanted For Him? - Poem by Brittany Koster

U took his heart and broke it in two
Like his tombstone, his final words were I hate u
Didn’t give him the chance
Didn’t give him the time
The time he needed to speak his mind,
But now it’s too late u had your turn
To change his life and make it right
So now it’s my chance to give him wings,
To hear the heavenly voices that sing
And if all you want, was for him to have failed
Then your life is only good for regret and betrayal
