When Is Punishment Going To Far - Poem by Deirre Jamon
When is punishment going to far; is it when your kids get bad grades and u take the t.v. away?
Or is it when you yell and scream when the child doesn't listen and do what he or she wants to?
When is punish ment going to far; is it when you take t.v. and ohne away because he or she was suspended from school that exact day?
Or is it when you take playtime away because they spilt more then one glass of milk on the floor that exact day?
When is punishment going to far; is it when you caught your child making out in the den and you hit and curse at them to the point where he or she looks at u and say mommy i'm sorry?
Or is it when you whoop your child tell he or she can't walk a inch for fighting in school?
When is punishment going to far; is it when you beat your child with an extension cord for being absent from school that day?
Or is it when you whoop your child with a switch for always being late to school and missing work to catch up to at school?
So when is punishment going to far; is it when you punch your child in the face because they just said I hate you?
Or is it when you are putting bruises on them because they said F-U.
So you tell me when is punishment going to far?
