When Love Dies Poem by Alisha Charles

When Love Dies

When love dies
So many nights you cry
The heart is broken
The eyes are swollen
No one can handle the pain
When they think of the strain
They put up to uphold
The love that was once gold
When love dies
They soul is crushed
So hard you try
To keep it hushed
But no one can hide
What they're feeling inside
When the heart is sad
Hate is glad
When love dies
So does the person
Sometimes they live
Sometimes they die
Not everyone can take being hurt
Some persons go through a red alert
They take their own life
Or die of grief
Now listen to me, though I'm just a teen
When tell someone you love them, think about what it means
